A fruit tree expert will be giving pruning courses in Holywood and Helens Bay hosted by Holywood Transition Town.
All Holywood residents are welcome to come along and learn from an expert organic grower whether they currently have a fruit tree or not. As well as picking up the correct tree maintenance methods and "having a go", there will be plenty of time to ask questions about how to avoid diseases and get the best fruit yield. Applicants are asked to bring a picnic lunch
Each course will be Â12.50 per person. If all the interest mainly for Saturday, we have the flexibility to do both courses that day. Sadly, if we cannot get enough people the course will not take place so please contact me immediately if you are interested.
