Holywood Players are in rehearsal with 'SEX, DRUGS & RICK'N'NOEL' by David Tristram. This is the story of Richard Branson. No, not that Richard Branson, this one's a redundant foundry worker whose wife has just left him. In a desperate attempt to regain some self esteem, Richard applies to do a history degree at university. There he meets Noel, another forty-something "mature" student with a whole different outlook on life. Together - well, together they learn more than either could have imagined possible. About life, about women, about themselves. Not too much about history though.

"an emotional roller coaster, brilliantly written. I came out beaming after enjoying a barrel of laughs and almost shedding a tear or two"
