An invitation to discuss Holywood Culture Night 2012.

On Tuesday 26th June there is an open meeting to discuss the upcoming Holywood Culture Night which is scheduled to take place on Friday September 21st, 2012

As most of you would know the aim of Culture Night is to reinvigorate town centres, to open doorways to a renewed sense of community where local people and local businesses interact not just as proprietors and consumers but as partners.



Beyond that, it is an event which sets out to encourage people in our local community to display our cultural capital, and as with Culture Nights elsewhere we expect Main Street to be awash with local bands, dancers, jugglers, poets, choirs, actors, drum groups, hip-hoppers, cow parades; all manner of artistic endeavours.



We already have great support from local businesses, many of which will be opening their doors late into the evening and connecting with the artists and performers.



What we need to do now is flesh out ideas and begin the process of making Holywood Culture Night a reality.
