Venue: Holywood Town Centre
Time: 10am until 4pm
Admission: This is a FREE event!
Following the increasing popularity of this event, year after year, Holywood's May Day will be Medieval for the sixth year in a row. The event draws crowds for the fantastic choice of things to see and do, that everyone enjoys!
Maybe it's the speciality market that people flock to with it's super choice of delicious treats and hand crafted jewels, gifts and trinkets...
or maybe
...it's the medieval displays of crafts and themed street entertainment
or, maybe
...it's the traditional fun that Holywood is synonymous for - the colourful display of maypole dancing by local school children, the tea dance and games, the children's fancy dress competition or the crowning of the May Queen.
Why not let the train take the strain on this Bank Holiday Monday - don't forget that Holywood train stop is just a few minutes walk away from the town centre.
