Energy Surgery on Monday 18th April at Redburn Loughview Community Forum.

Staff from NIE Energy will be running an ‘energy surgery’ on Monday 18th April from 10am to 2pm at the Redburn Loughview Community Forum on Abbey Ring to help people complete their ‘Home Energy Check’ as part of ‘Heating Up Holywood’.

Residents of Holywood will have received their letters from NIE Energy and Holywood Transition Town regarding the exciting new initiative ‘Heating Up Holywood’. The focus of ‘Heating Up Holywood’ is to encourage residents of Holywood to insulate their homes, have their boiler serviced and consider renewable energy for their homes.

From that rating, NIE Energy can recommend a number of energy saving methods to help reduce energy usage and save money. NIE Energy can then help you carry out some of the recommendations and access the various grants and special offers which are available.

The first 100 Holywood householders to complete the NIE Energy online Home Energy Check will receive a free home energy monitor (worth approximately £40). This useful tool can help you identify how you are using energy in your home.
