Holywood Chamber News and Events |
Hello - and welcome to the launch issue of the Holywood Chamber of Commerce newsletter. My intention is to send out regular-ish/monthly notes of events, happenings, news and ideas happening in our business community, and sometimes even further afield. We all know that the life force of any business is communication. I would hope this newsletter helps to strengthen and develop effective communication and business links between members here in Holywood. Please feel free to contact me with your happenings / events. If you've got a Jazz lunch, a fashion show, an art exhibition - anything you'd like to let others know about, please send details. Remember to give at least 4 week's notice. And I would love to get your feedback on this new initiative. Simply email me using the contact form provided. HCC Coffee Mornings |
Well, they're off and connecting :) The monthly Coffee Events have started, the most recent of which was held on January 13. We had a great group - about 20 people, who chatted and connected. We also heard Tim McKane of Navajotalk inspiring us to join Holywoodbiz, in an effort to promote Holywood as the very first TwitterTown in NI. Next Coffee morning is coming in a couple of weeks: Wednesday, February 10: 9.30 - 10.30 Cafe Kina (upstairs) For catering purposes - please book in advance: You can use the email form or alternatively, simply call Fiona on 028 9147 9651. Although we'll be delighted to see you on the morning if you decide to make a last-minute impulse decision to come along! By the way, watch out for news of a free Twitter-Yourself-Up workshop with Tim in the next few weeks. Learn to market your business through this new media. |
