Famous for being the oldest building in Belfast McHughs which was refurbished in 1997 still retains some of its old features and charm. With this it has been described as “The perfect twist on a Classic idea”, it is the perfect combination of the old meeting the new.
McHughs bar and Restaurant is a Mecca for trendy young professionals and tourists alike. The ground floor is a traditional but classy Bar with cosy surroundings making it perfect for that relaxing pint or those few drinks with friends.
On the first floor is a 100 seater Restaurant which offers something for everyone, with a distinctly oriental flavour. The house speciality is mouth-watering meals from the ‘open Wok’ station. McHughs has gained the reputation for being one of the best restaurants in Belfast offering everything from Oriental cuisine, to traditional pub grub.
McHughs Basement bar plays host to live music, disco music and is also available to book for 'Private Parties’.
