Guru Networks Demonstrate Global District in Killyleagh

Global District is a software tool which allows for communities to create a virtual representation of themselves can be used by communities and other entities to highlight their services and attractions online.

This demonstration shall be held in the Dufferin Arms at 7pm on Tuesday 26th July.

All interested parties are welcome to attend this open event to see what technologies are available through the Global District Platform.

Global District is the brainchild of Simon Maneely who has been developing the technology for the last number of years.

Features include visual mapping of towns and scapes. Locating of items of interest in these images. Inclusion of different types of users, be they businesses, attractions or special events can be added and removed through an interactive interface.

Additionally, features exist which allow for users to collate news from the different sources, i.e. businesses or events and attractions so that they can be kept informed of goings on.
