DEPARTMENT LOUNGE EXTENSION

The extension to the main Departure Lounge at Belfast City Airport is nearing completion.

During the past number of months, work has been progressing steadily on a two storey extension to the terminal building. The first stage of this work is nearing completion with additional passenger facilities becoming available within the coming weeks

The ground floor of the extension will provide a much enlarged Departure Lounge for the added comfort and convenience of passengers, as well as some additional office accommodation for airline staff.

In addition, bmi british midland will shortly begin the fit out of an enlarged business lounge on the first floor. From here passengers will board directly onto flights via an airbridge which is also under construction.
